- In order to maintain a pool of world-class people, you need to be invited from a Globelite member in order to get access to Globelite’s network. We are not open to the public.
- Once you are a Globelite member you might get invitation privileges. This is an exclusive privilege. Once you have an invitation privilege for a certain period of time, every successful invitation allows you a new invitation option right away.
- If you are a member of a cooperation university, all registered students have the possibility to access directly for free.
- If you don’t have an invitation, you can put yourself on the Globelite waiting list. Send us an email to application@globelite.com. After screening your application, Globelite will contact you via email and will tell you if you have been accepted or not.
- If you received an exclusive invitation, you can register for free.
- After your successful registration, you have access to all powerful features.
- This allows that only trusted people have the chance to become a Globelite member.
- Hence, high ethical standards as well as trust throughout the community are guaranteed.

8. How do I use Globelite for events, conferences, seminars or even private parties?

10. Am I going to receive any spam?
- Globelite membership is free of charge for all members who are in education, i.e. students and PhD students until 32 years or members who are retired (older than 65 years)
- For professionals we need to ask an annual membership fee of 29EUR (2.42 EUR/month) to cover infrastructure costs.
- The annual membership fee of 29EUR has to be paid in advance for one year.
- In case you wish to close your profile you can do that at anytime, however no repayment of the prepaid annual fee will be possible.
- You can post any event for free on Globelite’s forum.
- All the posted events can be seen by the community.
- The buzz and excitement for your event starts right away.
- You are the owner of your profile. You decide whether only your contacts or the whole Globelite-Community can see your name and full profile information. However, members who are not in your contact-network won’t see your "private profile" which might include personal information.
- As a professional network we aim to present only business information to our network. All other information will only be available for your private contacts.
- Hence all your contacts are divided into "business" and "private" contacts.
- "Business" status allows everyone of Globelite to see and search for your profile. "Private contacts" only allows your direct connections to see your profile. "Private" status does not allow anyone to find or see your personal profile.
- No. Because we don't like spam as less as you do, we've designed Globelite to minimize spam.
- Globelite is designed specifically for the individual to network with one another and not as a group wide communications tool.
- You will receive the Globelite-Newsletter that contains relevant information for you. You can choose to sign-off the newsletter at any time.
